Students who share LuminNote, paid for the views and the sign-ups.
Ambassadors post about LuminNote and share a personal code with their course and their followers. They are paid per view on that content and per student who signs up with the code, and they have the subscription free. This page sets out how the programme works and how to apply. No existing following is needed.
How the programme works.
Apply
The form below asks about you: what you study, whether you have made content before, and why the programme appeals. Every application is read by a person and answered within a week.
Receive a code and a rate
Accepted ambassadors get a personal discount code and a per-view rate for content about LuminNote, set out in a short agreement. The subscription is free from the start.
Post and get paid
Views are paid at your rate. Sign-ups with your code are paid on top. The partner dashboard shows both, along with bonus weeks, paid briefs and one-off opportunities as they come up.
Two ways to earn, and what comes with them.
Ambassadors are paid for the views their content receives and for the students who sign up with their code. There is no script: the content is whatever you would make about revision anyway, with your code in the caption.
- Students, or people who post to students: revision, university life, study-with-me, subject content.
- No existing following is required. New accounts and people who have not posted before are welcome.
- People who would use LuminNote themselves. Content based on real use is what the programme is for.
Paid per view
Content about LuminNote is paid according to the views it receives. You submit the link, the count is verified, and the amount is added to your balance.
A personal code
Your code gives students a discount on Pro. Each student who makes a first payment with it earns you a commission, tracked automatically.
A free subscription
Ambassadors have a full LuminNote subscription for as long as they are in the programme.
Bonus weeks
During some weeks, such as exam season or a launch, views and sign-ups are paid at a multiplied rate. These are announced in the dashboard in advance.
Additional paid work
Occasional paid tasks beyond posting: handing out flyers on campus, running a stall at a freshers' fair, attending an event. They are listed in the dashboard and taken on a first-come basis.
Marketing experience
The work is real marketing for a startup: briefs, results and numbers you can describe on a CV. A reference from the founder is available on request.

The form takes about five minutes: who you are, whether you have made content before, and why you think you would enjoy the programme. What to post about is set out in the dashboard once you join, so there is no need to pitch ideas here.

Common questions.
- Do I need an existing following?
- No. Ambassadors can start from a new account. If you have an audience, tell us about it; if you do not, that is fine. What to post is set out in the dashboard once you join.
- How much do I earn?
- Two streams. A per-view rate on content about LuminNote that you submit through the dashboard, and a flat commission on each student who makes their first payment with your code. Paid briefs and pop-up jobs come with their own fee. Exact figures are in your agreement when you're accepted, and visible on your dashboard from day one.
- How are views counted?
- You submit the link to the post. We check the platform's own view count after a set window, so a video that keeps going keeps earning up to that point. Bonus weeks multiply the rate; we announce them in the dashboard before they start.
- Is the subscription really free?
- Yes. Ambassadors get LuminNote free for as long as they're active in the programme — the whole thing, not a trial.
- What is the additional paid work?
- Short, local, paid tasks: flyering a campus before exams, a stall at a freshers' fair, being at a launch, testing something before students see it. They appear in the dashboard as they come up and you take the ones you want.
- When do I get paid?
- Balances build up on your dashboard as payments confirm. We pay out manually to PayPal or a bank account — you'll see every payout recorded against your balance.
- Can I apply if I'm not at university?
- Yes, if you post to students or would like to. You must be 16 or over.
- Is there a contract?
- A short ambassador agreement you sign on the dashboard. It covers your code, the per-view rate, the commission, and that you'll always say you're an ambassador when you post about us.
- Does this count as experience?
- Yes. Ambassadors work from real briefs and see the numbers on what they make, which is marketing experience for a startup. A reference from the founder is available on request.
