No. Your notes are your notes — they're used to build your lessons, cards and tutor answers, never to train models. On iPhone, the text in a photo is read on the device and you confirm the note before the photo is saved to your library; lecture audio is transcribed on-device and never leaves the phone. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
Yes — one click, no phone calls, no retention flow. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, whether that's the month or the year.
Yes. Pro is £59.99 a year (£5 a month, 44% less than paying monthly) and Essay Mode is £119.99 a year (£10 a month). An annual plan is billed once and runs for 12 months from the day you buy; for now it's bought on the web, and the iPhone and iPad apps follow whatever plan you're on. Already paying monthly? Switch in Settings → Subscription and the unused part of your month is credited against the year.
Soon — it's built and going through Apple's review. Join the waitlist on the iPhone & iPad page and you'll be first in when TestFlight invites go out. Pro is £8.99 a month there too; Essay Mode stays web-only for now.

Boost is £4.99 a month on top of Pro or Essay Mode and adds to every monthly limit your plan already has — 25 more lecture uploads, 250 more Lumin chats, 20 more flashcard sets, 50 more Research answers and so on (Essay Mode users also get more grading, writing-tool and Deep Research runs). Add or remove it any time in Settings → Subscription; it's web-only for now and never unlocks a feature your plan doesn't include.
